Meet Dr. Alice
Dr. Alice Beretta is the heart behind Beretta Equine. A 2002 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Alice has devoted her career to the well-being of horses. In 2007, she launched her mobile practice to make top-tier equine care more convenient and accessible. Her hands-on, compassionate approach helps horses feel at ease while receiving exceptional care right where they’re most comfortable—at home.
Introducing Kristi
Kristi Simpson, Dr. Alice’s veterinary assistant, has been part of Beretta Equine since February 2018 and is an indispensable member of the team. She manages much of the behind-the-scenes work—handling bloodwork, Coggins paperwork, and patient reports with accuracy and care. Known for her warm smile and steady positivity, Kristi brings both heart and skill to everything she does. Her dedication and genuine love for horses make her an essential part of what keeps Beretta Equine running smoothly and every patient well cared for.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Master of Science in Environmental Toxicology.
